Montecito Medical Liaisons
Our clients will be placed into one of four travel categories, depending on the assigned complexity rating. Four travel categories exist, and use the nomenclature Quest, Journey, Voyage, or Expedition. The categories are listed in order of increasing resource dependency, with Quest being the least, and Expedition being the greatest. The complexity rating is scored with a value between 1 and 10. Our medical navigators will collaborate with a health captain to determine the most appropriate travel category for each client. Travel category designation is accomplished after client data has been analyzed following the comprehensive intake interview. The travel category system is also used to accurately assess long-term membership fees.
“Clients are placed into travel categories to guide resource allocation and enhance service.”
Quest (Q1) travelers possess a case complexity rating between 1 and 2.4. The recommended service length contract for these individuals is between 6 and 12 months.
Journey (J2) travelers possess a case complexity rating between 2.5 and 4.9, and are assessed fees commensurate with this category. MML recommends a contract length of between 12-18 months to address these navigation needs.
Voyage (V3) clients possess a case complexity rating between 5 and 7.4, and require more extensive resource allocation to achieve optimum results. These clients typically face multiple health challenges and should expect the contractual relationship with MML to last between 18-24 months.
Expedition (E4) designated clientele possess a case complexity rating between 7.5 and 10, and require the assembly of a sophisticated battery of assets to navigate the healthcare labyrinth. The fees assessed to this group are elevated, to ensure that an appropriate response is garnered to meet the challenges of the case. MML recommends a service agreement lasting between 24-36 months to properly address the navigation needs of clients holding Expedition (E4) status.
To our Quest, Journey, Voyage, and Expedition clients: You are invited to travel under the guidance of the MML flag, where you will be guided through treacherous waters to reach clinical destination goals.
MML is open to inquiry from discriminating parties who possess an expectation of superior, personalized service to meet healthcare navigation needs. We do not market our product to the mass public for multiple reasons: MML considers the consequences of poor healthcare navigation to be serious, thus, we are not willing to compromise service and performance to reach a broad market. Our passion for measurable results and increased quality of life for our clients significantly limits the number of individuals we can support. We are eager to address your problems and needs. We welcome your invitation to participate in a partnership that achieves collaborative healing.
“Our passion for measurable results significantly limits the number of individuals we can support.”
MML is eager to those who may benefit from precision health navigation, wherever they are geographically positioned. Although we focus marketing efforts in certain communities, liaisons are prepared to travel significant distances to address challenging healthcare navigation needs. We will service discriminating clientele anywhere in the world, on a case by case basis, provided we can do so within the prescribed law of that state or country.
Due to licensing requirements in the United States, our medical navigators are presently limited to servicing clients in certain states. We are qualified and eager to service clientele present in the states of CA, MT, ID, UT, AZ, WY, ND, SD, NE, OK, TX, IA, MO, AR, MS, KY, TN, WV, GA, VA, NC, SC, and FL. The markets readily served include Del Mar, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Lake Village, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, The Woodlands, and Houston. It must be stressed to any visitor to this site that the medical liaisons used in our service model are NOT physicians. Health professionals who represent Montecito Medical Liaisons and provide direct service to the public DO NOT possess medical degrees or physician credentials. Our medical liaisons DO NOT diagnose illness, disease, or any other medical problem. Under no circumstance do our medical liaisons impart medical treatment advice, as this would also be illegal. It is unlawful for any entity that does not possess a medical license to advise the public on treatment options for any illness or disease state.
Although medical doctors are associated with MML, they remain strictly involved in company policy and regulative affairs and do not directly engage with the public. A board certified medical doctor with decades of experience serves as medical director. Please ask your medical liaison to clarify the distinction between care coordination and diagnosis if this concept remains blurred.
